Braintree Ladies celebrated their second birthday on Friday 18th September by holding an informal concert at St. Mary’s Church in Bocking. They sang a range of their favourite songs including Fields of Gold, Putting on the Ritz, World in Union and finished with an ABBA medley.
There was only a small audience but they were very appreciative and enjoyed the music.
The choir are hosting a quiz night on Saturday 24th October and any profit will be shared between St. Mary’s Church and Braintree Voices. Tickets are £6 per person and you can bring a team of up to six people or you may wish to join a team on the evening. This promises to be a fun event with a few surprises. Braintree Voices can next be heard performing at the Apple Festival at Cressing Temple Barns on 11th October 2026.
